Contemporary Worship Team

The Contemporary Worship Team of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, through our discipleship, hopes to bring others closer to God through the use of our talents, abilities and our desire to serve. We will endeavor to always be humble in our efforts. Remembering that we can only succeed when we put our faith in God.

At each fellowship opportunity we will:

• Become aware of God’s presence in all we do, acknowledge this and model it for others with praise and thanksgiving.
• With the use of the tools given to us, including the bible, multi media presentations and our own gifts, teach of God’s truths and how they relate to our neighbors and ourselves.
• Share with others the divine gift of baptism. Teach that through God’s mending Waters we receive Forgiveness, his healing power and the freedom of His everlasting grace.
• Create a place where people feel comfortable worshipping. Always extend a hand to those who have graced us with a visit.
• Reinforce the call of Jesus for each of us to become "Fishers of Men."

May we never forget that this ministry exists for the glory of God and, through the work of the Holy Spirit, we will continually strive to bring the Word and Teachings to anyone who wishes to listen and learn.
