Worship at Good Shepherd
Regular Hours: Sundays at 9:00 am & 11:30 am
Sunday School: Sundays at 9:45 am to 10:45 am
Nursery is staffed at all Sunday services.
Holy Communion is celebrated at each service.
We have a liturgical traditional chanted worship service at 9:00 am and a contemporary praise music worship service at 11:30 am. A fellowship time of coffee and treats follows each service.
Children learn by practicing what their parents are doing. Therefore, all children are encouraged and invited to all worship services. Books of all types, small toys, childrens bulletins, and crayons are available in the worship space. All services include a special time for the children to hear a message about the day's word of God during the Children's Sermon.
Holy Communion
The Lord's Supper is celebrated at every worship service at Good Shepherd. All baptized believers are invited to receive the bread and the wine, the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of their sins. Those who have not been baptized and children who have not received Holy Communion instruction are invited to come forward to receive a blessing. Holy Communion instruction is provided to children at Good Shepherd at the discretion of the parents.
Holy Baptism
The sacrament of initiation into the Christian community is a regular part of worship. Holy Baptism celebrates our acceptance by God and washes us of our sinfulness. Interested parents of infants and young children and persons interested in Holy Baptism should speak with Pastor Kathy North for preparation and scheduling the sacrament.
